01 / ABOUT THE PLACE
About this place
With its broad street-facing windows, FiGARO in Minami-Aoyama has the classic feel of a Parisian brasserie. Alongside its main floor on the 1nd floor, there is another level on the mezzanine 2 floor. It offers a relaxed place to eat or have tea, a little removed from the bustle of the Omotesando area.
Lunch with potage and bread
At lunchtime, the menu ranges from a daily main dish, pasta and salad to homemade quiche and baguette sandwiches. Sandwich and quiche sets come with a rich potage or a drink, making for a satisfying meal of simple, comforting French-style food. There are also heartier plates, such as grilled beef loin steak with fries, so diners can choose according to their appetite and schedule.
A leisurely pause over cake or wine
For an after-lunch treat or an afternoon break, cake chosen from the display case with coffee is a popular combination. The café is an inviting place to enjoy tarte tatin or pudding with iced coffee; it also works well as a bistro, with a light bite alongside a glass of wine or an aperitif.
